The Elder Independence Fund

Information, home care, and nutrition are the heart of MVES' work, but occasionally low-income elders need something fast and simple—financial assistance. The MVES Elder Independence Fund meets this need. Examples of how the fund helped over 20 local elders this past year include purchase of hearing aides, medication, lift chairs, a ramp, air conditioners, and assistance with moving expenses.

The MVES Elder Independence Fund is designed to help people who need assistance quickly. The Fund is financed through the generosity of individual and corporate contributions.
