Nutrition Program Volunteer at Meal Sites

Summary

Meal site volunteers work as part of a team that contributes to the safe independence of elders living in the community by helping them access nutritious and balanced food and opportunities for socialization. Volunteers perform a variety of tasks including setting up tables, serving meals, packaging desserts, and cleaning up after the meal.

Commitment

Two to three hours a day, one day per week. Specific times vary depending on the meal site.
