Volunteer Drivers - "Senior Travel Friends"
If you have a valid driver's license, insurance, a good driving record, and a few hours a month to spare, you could be a volunteer driver. This program helps elders maintain their independence and safety by asking volunteers to drive elders to and from local medical appointments. As a volunteer, you set the time and days you are available and participate in the program as your time allows. There are no minimum hour requirements and any time a volunteer gives each month is greatly appreciated.
