Come To MVES' Fifth Annual Theatre Event, My Fair Lady

“Wouldn’t it be loverly” to enjoy a night out while supporting local elders? Join MVES for its annual theatre event, My Fair Lady, on April 10, 2010 at 8 p.m. at the Stoneham Theatre.

My Fair Lady is MVES’ fifth annual theatre event to benefit the MVES Gap Fund, an endowment created by MVES that hopes to raise $1 million. The interest accrued by the Gap Fund is used to provide home care services to elders who are slightly above government income eligibility guidelines or who are not considered frail enough for government-supported services.

“We’re so thankful for our sponsors’ ongoing support of the Gap Fund,” said Jenny Vanasse, director of development at MVES. “With this event’s proceeds, we anticipate passing the halfway mark of our fundraising goal, having raised $500,000 in pursuit of our $1 million goal!”

Sponsorships to My Fair Lady are still available and start at $100. Sponsors receive recognition in the program and, depending on the chosen level of support, tickets to the show.
