Heading a list of generous donors, StonehamBank is the lead sponsor for Mystic Valley Elder Services’ (MVES) spring theatre event to benefit the MVES Gap Fund. The sponsorship marks the third consecutive year that Stoneham bank has been the lead sponsor for the annual fundraiser. This year’s show will be , presented on April 12 at the Stoneham Theatre. All net proceeds from the event will benefit MVES’ Gap Fund.

“StonehamBank believes strongly in The Gap Fund’s promise to assist community elders in Stoneham and surrounding communities,” said Janice Houghton, president of StonehamBank. “It is our honor to be the lead sponsor of this special performance.”

The Gap Fund is an endowment created by MVES that hopes to raise $1 million. The interest accrued by The Gap Fund is used to provide home care services to elders who are slightly above government income eligibility guidelines or who are not considered frail enough for government-supported services. To learn more about The Gap Fund or Sisters of Swing, The Andrews Sisters Story, please call MVES Director of Development Jenny Vanasse at 781-324-7705 ext. 175.
