Satisfied Clients MVES strives to provide high quality services to the elders, families, and caregivers that we serve. Each year we send out a satisfaction survey to our clients to find out if we are meeting their expectations and needs. This year’s survey was sent to approximately 65 percent of MVES’ clients and of those clients, about 44 percent answered and returned the surveys. Clients were asked to rate and comment on services such as Case Management, Personal Care, Homemaking, Grocery Shopping and Delivery, Transportation, Lifeline Emergency Response system, and others. After tallying all of the responses, we found that our clients are very satisfied with the services we provide to them and are especially happy with the people involved in coordinating and delivering these services. Ninety to 100 percent of the ratings for the overall quality of each of our services was Excellent or Good. Responses to specific statements about each of the surveyed services indicated that 82 to 100 percent of clients Strongly Agree or Agree that the service is meeting their needs. In addition to checking and circling responses, some clients write comments. Below is a small sampling of some of the many (over 500!) comments we received. “I’ll be 91 years old on 7-21-04, live alone, and any services available to me are greatly appreciated. I depend on services received.” “My Case Manager is very understanding and has an answer or gets me one when I ask. I am very happy with her…she is important to me.” “I am very happy with the services provided. The home health aide is so nice and my mother really has bonded with her.” “My homemaker is more than excellent and does a great job…she always goes that extra step above and beyond. I don’t know where I’d be if it wasn’t for her, so thank all of you for everything." “So far I haven’t had to use Lifeline but I feel very secure knowing it’s there. I check in every month. The Lifeline [people] are great.” Although we recognize that there is always room for improvement, MVES is happy and proud to report that our clients are very satisfied with the services that we, in conjunction with a number high-quality business partners, provide to them.
