Giving Care, Taking Care: A Caregiver Conference Series

Are you a caregiver? Could you use some help? Giving Care, Taking Care: A Caregiver Conference Series is an MVES-sponsored series of informative talks designed to help caregivers more easily deal with their caregiving responsibilities. The series is organized by Kathy Learned, MVES’ caregiver support coordinator, and its goal is to help caregivers identify important resources and supports.

The featured speaker for each topic is Samir Patel, M.D. Dr. Patel is a geriatric psychiatrist and is the associate medical director of the Inpatient Medical Psychiatric Program of Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford/Hallmark Health. All conference sessions are free and will be held from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Lawrence Memorial Hospital/School of Nursing, Classroom A.

The Series:

Many medical diseases can cause behavioral changes. This lecture will focus on behavioral manifestations that can be caused by various medical diseases or the treatment of these diseases.

Health Insurance Maze for the Elderly: Medicare versus Medicare HMOs (February 25, 2004)
