Friendly Visitor
Friendly Visitor volunteers are matched with homebound elders who are
living independently in the community. Volunteers spend one to two hours per week,
sharing their friendship with an elder in need of social support. This flexible
volunteer opportunity allows people with busy schedules to give their time whenever
it is convenient—weekdays, evenings, or even weekends. Even just one hour per
week can make a huge impact on the life of an elder in need of a friend.
