Volunteer Opportunities
Group Projects
Throughout the year, the Volunteer Department organizes group projects
that have a high impact in the community. In early 2002, Mystic Valley Elder Services,
in cooperation with the Massachusetts Department of Education and several local
churches, conducted a book drive and donated over 500 books to Malden public schools.
Other short-term or one-time group projects such as yard work, house cleaning,
and social outings for elders are a great way to volunteer your time and make
a difference in the community.
