Volunteer Opportunities
SHINE (Serving the Health Informatin Needs of Elders)
SHINE Volunteers are specially trained to help Medicare and Medicaid recipients
navigate through the confusing world of health insurance benefits. These volunteers
or counselors provide unbiased information to elders and their families about
their health insurance options. Once a volunteer is trained, he or she provides
SHINE counseling at local senior centers, libraries, and other accessible locations.
