Ambassador of Independence

We are an organization that is built of and for our community. This means that, from time to time, we must call upon our fellow community members to raise their voices, call or email their lawmakers, or rally at the State House.

Other opportunities

One-on-one advocacy with seniors and schoolchildren.

Nourishing the community at dining sites and food pantries.

Behind the scenes volunteering in the office and planning events.

We invite you to be a voice for positive change.

When you sign up to become an ambassador for the independence and dignity of elders and adults living with disabilities, our executive director, Daniel O’Leary, will place you on a special email list that he will use exclusively for these critical calls to action. You’ll be one of the first to know when there are threats to the health and wellbeing of your community, and you’ll be one of our most important allies as we protect the gains we have made.

Yes! I’m ready to be an ambassador for independence!
