Financial Information

Mystic Valley Elder Services is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We have a yearly budget of around $45 million. We have 300 staff members and over 400 volunteers.

Our board of directors, a group of 40 individuals who represent the cities and towns we serve, oversee the fiscal health and responsibility of our agency.

The majority of our funding comes from state and local government agencies. However, some of our most popular programs, such as Meals on Wheels, do not receive sufficient government funding and are supported through donations from the community at large and from the elders and adults living with disabilities who participate in the programs. Mystic Valley Elder Services is required under federal and state law to have policies and procedures to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse in federally funded health care programs. We are also required to educate employees about such laws.
