Mystic Valley Elder Services is Celebrating 50 Years of Independence and Dignity for Older Adults, People with Disabilities and Caregivers

Mystic Valley Elder Services (MVES) is excited to celebrate our 50th anniversary! We will be marking our anniversary in a variety of ways, including:

• A Kick-Off Event on June 24, 2025, the month we were founded in 1975, featuring Keynote speaker Edward Alan Miller, Ph.D., Professor of Gerontology and Chair of the UMass Boston Gerontology Department, a complimentary lunch reception and more. Thank you to our event sponsors: Agero, the Cross Country Group and Preotle, Lane & Associates. (Registration for this event is now closed. We look forward to seeing you!)

• A series of events held in partnership with each of the 11 communities we serve. To find the event in your community, click here for a list of all our upcoming 50th celebrations.

• MVES will be honoring individuals who have contributed to aging services in each of the 11 communities we serve. Please scroll down or click here to nominate someone for MVES’ Community All-Stars Awards.

• The MVES Legacy50 Summit, the finale of our 50th festivities, will be held on June 4, 2026. The Summit will feature a Keynote Presentation by Ashton Applewhite, award-winning author, TED mainstage speaker, and anti-ageism activist. We will also have panel discussions, an Expo Fair, book signing, luncheon, and more.
