“If it were not for the assistance of our money management volunteers, many of the individuals we work with would have faced eviction from their apartment, simply for falling behind on their bills. That’s how critical this volunteer work is for members of our community.” -Larry Poirier, Money Management Program Manager

Money Managers are screened, trained volunteers who work one-on-one with an older adult, or an adult living with a disability, who is having difficulty managing daily finances. Sorting through the mail together, making sure bills are paid on time, and maintaining the check register are a few of the responsibilities included in this role. The volunteer time commitment is approximately 2-4 hours each month.
